INTENSE PULSED LIGHT (IPL) THERAPY

The Angelite™ Intense Pulsed Light unit uses the latest in digital light technology to deliver a permanent solution to unwanted hair. It emits a multi-chromatic spectrum of light which selectively targets pigment in hair and damages the bulb at the base of each individual follicle. Treated hair is shed within days of therapy, but results usually become noticeable after 2-3 treatments since hair grows in different stages and must be in the "anagen" or active-growth phase to be effectively treated. Full results are usually obtained in 4-8 treatments each spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

The Angelite™ uses new technology to produce hundreds of wavelengths in each lightburst instead of the single wavelength emitted by a laser and the internal cooling system is constantly working to cool the treated area to minimize discomfort. The light crystal covers a wider area with each light burst, so each treatment takes only 15-60 minutes and there is no downtime.

The best results are obtained when there is a contrast between skin and hair color, since the Angelite™ targets pigment. Although each treated hair has been permanently removed, throughout your life changing hormones can inspire a new hair to grow in its place, which can again be treated successfully.
